the not so great thing about being short, is that even 5lbs changes what i can wear. a lot of my clothes are a little too big (even the ones i bought most recently). and it SUCKS. i have really cute clothes & i want to keep them. =/
January Goals:
- 4 workouts a week: 2 strength training/toning, 2 cardio
- Run 2 miles without stopping
- Run a mile at 7.5MPH
- Eat out once a week
- One small sweet snack a day
- More fruits + veggies
- 2 Starbucks a week
- Up my weights 10lbs by the end of the month
- Positive attitude :)
bought new shoes yesterday. my old shoes were about a year old. my knee was really bothering me these past 2 workouts, so hopefully this helps.
managed to get a quick lifting session in. i am weak. =/
ran a mile & a half. and then finished up my workout with HIIT.
hopefully i’ll be inspired to lift tomorrow :)
my mom was telling me how great i look the other day. she was like, “how much do you weigh now? you look so good” lol. it was nice but also like, “i don’t think i was that bad. it was just 15lbs”.
i’m wavering between 127-130 now. haven’t worked out in a week. hopefully i’ll go to the rec center today. I JUST DON’T WANT TO. lol. i miss working out, but laziness is winning everything. i just want to relax.
i’m going to create some fitness goals for the new year. i think my biggest barrier is that i know i’m weaker now, and my normal workout routine will be harder :( and that sucks, i worked so hard to up my weights + push my speed. and then not doing it for a few weeks = major setback & basically having to start all over again.
life has been crazy, but winter break is here :)
i spent this past weekend SUPER SICK. and haven’t been to the gym since last Wednesday :(
i also haven’t been eating a lot since the med i’m taking kills my appetite.
my most recent weigh-in had me at 129. so i’m up 5lbs from my lowest recent weight.
i leave at 2:30AM tomorrow for home, so I’m going to try to hit the gym today. i’ve been averaging about 3 days a week. 2012 goal will be at least 3x/week, maintain 128, be toned + fit. i am not so toned or so fit =/ but my body overall looks ok.
move more, eat less (+ better), drink water.
simple.
